  • It is said that " Ability is of little account without opportunity" and  hence i would like to thank the placement cell for giving me the right opportunity to present myself before the recruiters of one of the Big Four's - KPMG and also get placed at the renowned  organisation. For all the efforts the cell has taken in following up with the recruiters, addressing our queries and to finally set the ball rolling ,when the company arrives .I would like to applaud the Placement Cell. Thank you R.A. Podar College of Commerce and Economics and The Placement Cell.
    -Megha Dhawan (2014-15) KPMG.

  • The work of Placement Cell of R.A. Podar College has been really obliging. With their systemised procedures, accurate and timely communications and designated work personnel, the experience has been prodigious. From the beginning of the final year, we were counselled about the way placement week would go; sessions were held on how to tackle GD/PI rounds and on general awareness. The registration process was easy and we were well informed about the companies to come before hand. Even during the placement week, all the procedures were pleasantly handled and the process was suave. To sum it up, it was a well-managed and a resourceful committee to bring in some of the best companies for the placement week and thus a great help in placing me with KPMG.
    - Shivangi Agarwal (2014-15) KPMG.

  • The placement cell of R. A. Podar College of Commerce and Economics was an amazing cell which gave us opportunities to start off with a corporate life immediately after graduation with some of the best companies! I remember getting my first job offer from Axis Risk Consulting Services in which the placement cell put up an organised and cooperative effort which ensured that most of us got good placements. The placement team of 2013 was proactive and ensured that all the students were well prepared for their resume presentation, GDs and PIs. I'll always be grateful to this cell for my first job offer.

I am grateful to the Placement Cell of R.A.Podar for giving methe opportunity to work at Mondelez India in the capacity of anintern. Though the internship was for 1.5 months, the learningand the marketing skills which I developed during the coursewill stay with me for lifetime. It also taught me that in order tobecome a successful business leader, one needs to start fromthe bottom and get acquainted with the ground realities. Since it was a sales internship, there were a few rejections butit was just a matter of time until they converted into successfulpurchases. The placement cell coordinated with us really well throughout the interview process and overall it was a good experience.

Pranjal Chavarkar,Mondelez Intern, 2015-16

It was a good learning experience. Got a chance to develop my communication skills. Got a taste of the actual corporate structure. I am very thankful to Placement Cell.

Siddesh Sawant,Mondelez Intern, 2015-16

The internship with mondelez was a good experience. I was working for the Diwali corporate gifting department and we had a sales target to achieve. We had to go from corporate to corporate to make deals which gave an upfront knowledge how things actually work. We use to work as a team and we had a good team leader Mrs.Divya learnt a lot from here.
I would like to thank the Placement Cell for this opportunity.

Princy Vincent, Mondelez Intern, 2015-16

The internship at the Reserve Bank of India , was a golden opportunity and a dream come true. Being a part of the Central Bank of India was an amazing learning experience. The Department of Statistics and Information Management (DISM) is the statistical wing of RBI where the summer interns of various colleges where posted.

To be working with the Balance of Payments Statistical Division of DISM and being guided by India’s best statisticians was an experience to be cherished forever. I was assigned to a project regarding the External Commercial Borrowings and its various implications on India’s GDP. The conducive working environment along with extremely helpful officers had made me love my work.

The two months RBI Summer Internship helped me to understand the micro and macro economic policies along with the working and role of RBI.

I would like to thank the Placement Cell for making all this possible and for providing this opportunity that will definitely help me in getting a head start in my career.

Ishani Chattopadhyay , RBI Summer Intern, 2015-16.

I was selected for the summer internship by the Reserve Bank of India. I was posted in the Balance of payment department for a period of two months. We did a research work on the various companies that are engaged in external commercial borrowings from the foreign banks and also worked on Form 83.

It was one great opportunity to work under RBI and I would always owe to Podar placement cell to place this golden opportunity in front of me. I am greatly thankful to this cell.
