Annual Report 2016-17

In the academic year 2016-17, around 157 students registered themselves for the Extension Work activity. A book publication event was organized by the Department of Lifelong Learning in association with The Extension Unit, R. A. Podar College of Commerce and Economics on 27th June 2016. The teachers in charge and the student managers attended the first term training programme organized by DLLE in association with the Extension Unit of our college on 5th July 2016. The teachers in charge and the student managers attended the second term training programme organized by DLLE.

The teachers in charge and students participated in Bhajan Sandhya which was organized by the University of Mumbai at the Gate Way of India.

The students attended a programme organized by the University, ‘Coffee with V.C.’ on 8th December and seminars held in the college from 8th December to 11th December. They participated in the Udaan festival and won the consolation prize for their Street Play.

Activities conducted during the year 2015-16

In the academic year 2015-16, around eighty students registered themselves for the Extension Work activity. The Extension Teacher-in-charge and the student managers attended the first and the second term training session organized by DLLE. The college arranged first and second term training session in the college for the students registered with DLLE. The students participated in Udaan Festival’s poster making competition and street play competition held on 12th January, 2016 by the University of Mumbai. Students successfully completed their projects. They got the benefit of ten marks and the certificate from DLLE.

Activities conducted during the year 2014-15:
In the academic year 2014-15 ,sixty two students registered themselves for the Extension Work activity. The Extension Teacher-in-charge and the student managers attended the first and the second term training session organised by DLLE. The college arranged first and second term training session in the college for the students registered with DLLE.
The teacher in charge ad students participated in VishwaAhinsaDiwas organized by University of Mumbai on the eve of 2nd October 2014 at Gate Way of India.
The teacher in charge and students participated in YuvaDiwas celebration organized by DLLE along with DSW, NSS on 12th January 2014 at Sports Complex Kalina Campus, University of Mumbai.
To support NGO MIB, the Extension students have prepared a blood bank database of 250 students which will be handed over to DLLE, University of Mumbai.
The students participated in Udaan festival poster making competition and street play competition.
