Plans (2024-25)

  • 1. To implement NEP second year curriculum by adhering to norms given by the Government of Maharashtra.
  • Promote collaborative exchange of courses with nearby colleges.
  • To augment the incubation cell and encourage students to apply for patents.
  • To support and facilitate internships through collaborations.
  • Augmenting IT infrastructure in the college.
  • Digitizing documents and records.
  • TPromotion of U.U. Bhat Centre for skill development and social outreach in the adopted village.
  • To continue with previous IQAC initiatives.

  • To implement NEP curriculum by adhering to norms given by the Government of Maharashtra.
  • To conduct training programmes for faculty on use of advanced IT tools for teaching, learning and research.
  • To promote research opportunities and projects.
  • To augment infrastructure for teaching and learning.
  • To create awareness about mental health of all stakeholders through workshops and outreach programs.
  • To review quality manuals and systems in light of NEP implementation.
  • To support and facilitate inclusiveness in the college campus.
  • To submit the AQAR for 2021-22 and 2022-23.
  • To continue with previous IQAC initiatives.

  • To create awareness and train faculty and staff regarding the implementation of NEP 2020 for autonomous institutions.
  • To conduct facilitation program to discuss the implementation of NEP

  • To appoint mentors from relevant industry for onboarding of students admitted in new programs
  • To develop and implement examination reforms
  • To conduct induction program for students
  • To conduct outdoor FDP for teachers

  • To continue the conduct of Knowledge Exchange Program for faculty members and other stakeholders

  • To adopt online MS teams for conducting online lectures as a tool for Learning Management System, conduct of online meetings and administrative work.
  • To conduct Student Induction Program as per UGC guidelines.
  • To conduct online examination through SAFE App by collaborating with IIT Bombay.
  • To strengthen student support mechanisms and improve well-being of students and staff through various initiatives like counseling, enrichment programs,etc.
  • To continue with various initiatives to strengthen autonomy.
  • To encourage students to enroll for online certificate courses.
  • To develop administration SOP for online procedures and reporting tools for staff and faculty.
  • To conduct and encourage participation of students and staff in webinars, conferences, training workshops,etc.
  • To introduce a feedback mechanism and take regular feedback from students, faculty , parents, employers for sustainable development and further improvement.

  • To implement the scheme of autonomy by adhering to the UGC guidelines.
  • To Conduct the Student Induction Program for all First year students as per UGC guidelines.
  • To conduct question paper review by subject experts from Peer colleges.
  • An inclusive cell to be initiated to provide a Platform for the special students.
  • To introduce a mandatory course on “ Value education and Yoga “ for all First year students.
  • To introduce Skill and ability Certificate courses designed and implemented by faculty members.
  • To introduce the Extra curricula credit points scheme for First year students.
  • To introduce Electronic attendance introduced across all programs for lectures and campus attendance.
  • To conduct series of workshop focused on teaching pedagogies and evaluation methods.
  • To further improvise the Standardised procedures for conduct and reports on activities.

  • To Create an active Web Page for all Faculty Members and link them to College Website.
  • To conduct Value Education Certificate Course for Students.
  • To strengthen the class mentor-mentee and Parent-Teacher relationship through periodic meetings.
  • To designed and developed simplified e-learning resources with focus on academically weak students.
  • To conduct Platinum Jubilee Celebrations in association with the Alumni co-ordination committee.
  • To network with the mass media to reach out to stakeholders.
  • To Strengthen the online Feedback response System for our stakeholders.

Plans for 2015-16:

  • Research: Seminars and Conferences to be organised during the year. Lectures Series on Research Methodology to motivate teachers and students to pursue research.
  • Review of timeline process
  • Broaden the horizon of the Self Development Cell: Inclusion of Diet & Nutrition and Legal counselling lectures for stakeholders in the neighbourhood.
  • Integrate Alumni Association in the Platinum Jubilee Celebration by organizing Podar Ratna Award and a musical evening for the alumni and students.
  • Project mentoring for T.Y.B.M.S. students by alumni.
  • Design of a college template for Power point presentation.
  • National Seminar on Library Science to be conducted with U.G.C. sponsorship
  • Wellness Programme for staff to continue
  • Sports mentoring to continue.
  • Role of teacher mentors to be enhanced; to take up the role of counsellors and motivate slow learners and economically disadvantaged students.
