We take great pleasure and pride to announce that R. A. Podar College of Commerce and Economics has been accredited with an A+ grade and a CGPA of 3.68 by NAAC, in the third cycle. Remarkably, the accreditation will be valid for 7 years i.e. until 21st February, 2024.

What is NAAC? NAAC i.e. the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, is an autonomous body established by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India to assess and accredit institutes of higher education in the country.

A brief history of the accreditations received by us:
In the first cycle, the NAAC accredited our College with a grade of A+, in the year 2004, for a period of 5 years. As on the date of accreditation, our College was the first institution in Maharashtra and 8th in India to have obtained the A+ grade. In the next cycle, the College maintained its status and was ranked as an A grade college by NAAC, with a CGPA of 3.63. As on 27th March 2011, this was the highest CGPA obtained by any affiliated college in Maharashtra.
